The Project Website General Settings is the defaults for your Project Website. In this area we can set up banner images, adjust colors, control receipt settings, and if necessary delete the entire Project Website. See below for more information on accessing this area.

  1. From the Project Home, click Manage Project Website under the Project Website header.
  2. Click Edit next to Project Website General Settings.
  3. Determine what Project Information to Display. This information, if checked, will display on each page.proj_web_gen_1.jpg
  4. Upload a Banner, Background, and Navigation Logo Image. These can be different from one another, but must be either .jpeg or .png.
    • The Banner image is limited to 1170 pixels in length, and 300kb in size. You also have the option of Banner Placement, either above or below the header.
    • The Background image defaults to tiled.
  5. Determine a site Layout. This will default to all of your future pages, although you can change the layout on a per page basis.proj_web_gen_2.jpg
  6. Determine Website Colors. Click on the color you wish to change to open a palette, alternatively if you know the hex code you can enter it in the box. To see what each area controls, click the green help button or read below. If you select Manually configure website colors in project website, you must manually edit settings in the Online Payments website editor. Changes made there cannot be edited here. This is not recommended for most users.

  7. Header Buttons and Footer Links allow you to put a few customized links in the header and footer respectively. You can either link to another page on your Project Website, or another URL.
  8. Make a check mark to fill in an About Us section. Typically this is a section that allows you to inform visitors to your site about your organization, and appears in your footer.
  9. Make a check mark to full in a Contact Us section. This area also appears in the footer, and is used to post contact information for your organization.
  10. If you wish to have a Copyright, choose the radial button that best fits. The additional text is specified by you.
  11. Social Media Icons can be set up so that there is a clickable icon that will take visitors of your site to URLs you specify. Unlike the generic Footer Links and Header Buttons, these Social Media Icons are intended to correspond with each particular social media site. Choose the radial you like best, and then you can specify the exact URL’s in the text fields that open below.proj_web_gen_4.jpg
  12. If you have sold a sponsorship package to a Supporter, you can display them on your webpage by checking Show Sponsors.
    • You can display Name, Logo, and Link (these are all set up in a Supporter Record).
    • Display order can be done either as Alphabetical, or by Sponsor Level. Within the Sponsor level, each level is also alphabetized.
    • Display Position can either be only on your Landing page, or on All pages (either left or right).
  13. Additional options are Include in event search (searchable via Google, Bing, etc.), Event Search Tags (typically your event name, organization name) Share Options (for visitors to share your page on their own social media), and finally Customize Receipt Settings for default receipts for each page.proj_web_gen_5.jpg
  14. Finally, by typing “delete” (case sensitive, without the quotations) into the text box and clicking the Delete Website button, you can permanently delete your Project Website.
