Adding a Business Contact

You can add a business contact to a business record within Greater Giving. This is useful for when you want to have the contact at the business, and not just the generic business information. Likewise, the contact will show in Letters & Emails and many Reports.

To Add a Business Contact:

  1. From the Project Home, click the View/Edit Supporters link under the Supporters header.
  2. Search for the Business you wish to add the Contact to.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Click the Business Contacts tab.BusinessContact1.jpg
  5. Click the Add Contact button.
  6. Use the following options for selecting a Business Contact:
    • Find – Search for a Supporter by name using the field provided.
    • Pick a Supporter – Opens up the Supporter Grid to find a Supporter.
    • Create New Supporter – Create a new Supporter to be added as the Business contact.
  7. After selecting the Supporter, they will be automatically added as a contact to the Business.
  8. Click Save to save this Business Contact.
