Registration Codes

Registration Codes are system generated codes for purchases made through your Project Website. They allow a guest to return and update information pertaining to who is using their tickets. These codes will always be present on the confirmation receipt email that gets sent to guests, and you can also access them within a special reporting area. Below, we cover the basics of the Registration Code, how to set it up, and finding previously generated Codes.

Note: Registration Codes are set up when Creating a Registration Page, and editing the Registration Settings.

Important Notes about Registration Codes:

  • Registration Codes are only generated by Sales made through the Project Website. They are not created by manually added Sales.
  • Altering the Sale or the Package that generated the Registration Code can cause the Code to no longer function properly.
  • Registration Codes can be found on the Confirmation Email Receipt the purchaser receives, and can be viewed by members of your organization. See below for more information.

Adding Registration Codes:
Registration Codes can be added to pre-existing Registration Pages. While it will not notify purchasers of the new code, you can always use the steps below to find a Registration Code and resend it to the purchaser.

  1. From the Project Home, click Manage Project Website under the Project Website header.
  2. Click Edit Page Settings for your Registration page.
  3. Scroll down to the Registration Settings area, and select the appropriate radio button for Enable Attendees to Edit Information After Purchase.
  4. Click Save in the top or bottom corner to save your changes.
